Looking Ahead: Amtrak

 Freight tracks now ride partway through town, but talk of an approved yet unfunded Amtrak extension are in the air. Would it travel the same routes?  There are bus stops already along the rail lines.  Would people on the train connect to transit at the current intersections?  Will the landscape of gas stations, dollar and convenience stores and some residential remain?
