TRANSIT: MARTA

Speaking from the perspective of a visitor to Atlanta the Hartsfield Jackson Airport and MARTA connect is generally the starting out point.  While it's often easier to walk between places in the central city, the transit system moves through the city and out to the outer suburbs.  The network extends to other cities in the metro and there appears to be ongoing consideration over what forms that will take.
